Software License Agreement

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Store preview. Dev Boilerplates is being prepared for launch. Purchases are disabled and attached product archives are illustrative samples. The policies below describe the intended terms for completed products when checkout becomes available. No payment or commercial license is offered by this preview.

License grant and ownership

After successful payment for a completed product, the store grants the buyer a non-exclusive license to use and modify that product under the tier listed on its product page and order. Copyright and ownership of the original package remain with the applicable rights holders. Your original additions remain yours, subject to any third-party components they incorporate. A license key records entitlement; it does not transfer intellectual-property ownership.

Standard — single use

A Standard license permits one developer to use and modify the product for one end product for themselves, their organization or one client. That end product may be commercial. Development, staging and production instances of the same end product count as one use. You may deliver the finished end product to that client, but may not distribute the reusable source package to unrelated developers or reuse it for additional end products without another license.

Team — multiple developers

A Team license permits up to five developers working for one purchasing organization, including its contractors assigned to the project, to access and modify the source for one end product. The end product may be offered commercially. Team members may share a private project repository within that scope. Contractors must stop retaining the source when their work ends. Additional unrelated client projects or organizations require another license unless the product explicitly includes a broader grant.

Extended — white-label client distribution

An Extended license permits the purchasing organization and its project contractors to modify and deploy the product for multiple end products and multiple clients, including under the buyer’s or client’s own branding. The buyer may charge for those deployments, hosted services and completed client deliverables. Modified source may be supplied as part of an individual client’s completed project so the client can operate and maintain that project.

The Extended grant does not permit repackaging or reselling the unmodified product, substantially similar starter kit, or reusable source library as a competing standalone software template. It does not allow public source mirrors, unrestricted sublicensing or transferring the entire license to another vendor. A client receiving project source receives rights to that delivered project only, not a right to redistribute the base package.

Common permissions and limits

You may modify the code and remove storefront branding from your end product where the tier allows white-label use and no third-party attribution rule prevents it. Keep legally required third-party notices. Do not claim ownership of original third-party assets, redistribute license keys, share protected download links publicly, or give more people source access than the license permits. A license covers the purchased version; updates or ongoing support are included only where explicitly stated.

Third-party dependencies and names

Open-source dependencies, fonts, icons and external SDKs retain their own licenses. Their terms are not replaced by this agreement. You are responsible for required third-party accounts and fees. References to Stripe, Cloudflare, Figma, Supabase, WorkOS and other brands indicate intended integrations; no endorsement or partnership is implied. “DocuSign-Lite Signing System” is a catalog name for an independent concept, not a DocuSign product or legal-validity certification.

License records, refunds and termination

Retain the order receipt and license key. The license is tied to the purchasing customer and included tier. A full refund terminates the affected product license and remaining download access. Material misuse may also result in termination after notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue where appropriate. On termination, stop use and distribution and delete the affected package except records that must be retained by law.

Warranty and applicable rights

The documented product description and Refund Policy govern delivery defects. No software license guarantees income, business success, uninterrupted service or compatibility with every future runtime. Nothing in this agreement excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact the store before purchase if your planned source distribution is outside the stated tier.

Preview sample exception

Current mock ZIP archives are governed only by their included sample-license.txt evaluation notice. They are not sold and carry no Standard, Team or Extended commercial license. The license-tier labels on preview product pages describe the intended completed-product offer.
